Golfer Darren Clarke backs internet fitness regime to help gain Ryder Cup spot

The 2011 Open champion andRyder Cup veteran, who has endured a winless year, has since been in his gym five days a week to lose weight and build muscle.
According to the Mirror, Clarke uses the regime called FaceTime on an iPad at home to link with trainer Jamie Myerscough at Educogym in Dublin and has since shed almost 12 kilograms.
Clarke said that he decided to do something about his pounds that he had gained, adding that he is now twice as strong as he has ever been, which has helped him to swing his club and get it into the positions that he wants more easily.
