The Swede's strike against Olympiakos was his
eighth in five games this season, moving him level with Ruud van
Nistelrooy, Hernan Crespo, Filippo Inzaghi and Cristiano Ronaldo
The Swede netted just seven minutes into PSG's Group C clash with Olympiakos at Parc des Princes, turning in from close range after Gregory van der Wiel's low cross.
It was Ibrahimovic's eight goal of the 2013-14 group stages, thus equalling the record held by Ruud van Nistelrooy (2004-5), Hernan Crespo (2002-03), Filippo Inzaghi (2002-03) and Cristiano Ronaldo (2013-14).
The 32-year-old's previous seven goals in Europe this season were spread across three games: the forward struck twice in a 3-0 home win over Benfica, four times against Anderlecht in Belgium and once in the return fixture.
Excluding qualification rounds, Ibrahimovic now has 39 goals in the Champions League, putting him 11th on the all-time list.
The ex-Juventus, Ajax, Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter man is also the only player in the top 50 to have played for more than five teams. ------------- goal.com
