Ikpeba Advises Osaze

To settle with his coaches at national and club levels

Former African footballer of the year, Victor Ikpeba, has posited that unsettled striker Osaze Odemwingie needs to swallow his pride and make things up with his coaches at both national and club level to save his career.

According to Ikpeba, the hugely talented West Bromwich Albion striker is going through a very difficult phase in his career and he needs to turn a new leaf to come out unscathed.

“I am of the view that Osaze at 31 is still young and vibrant to play for the Super Eagles but he should go and make peace with Coach Stephen Keshi and his coach at West Brom to take his place in the squads.”

”It is good for one to be vocal when fighting for one’s right but he should know when to mellow down and sort things out personally instead of going public on twitter.”

”Osaze should go and beg Keshi to get a recall to the Super Eagles and start playing again. Keshi is the boss and he wants peace in his team and anybody who would disrupt that process should have no place in his team,” he stated.

The ‘Prince of Monaco’ as Ikpeba was known in his playing days in French Ligue1 said that he believes that Osaze would no doubt be a good addition to Keshi’s emerging team. ------------------ complete sports
