AFCON is it!!!!!!

Hello people,
I know a lot of Naija fans will still be partying and celebrating our victory over the Ivoriens; that is very understandable but i think we should temporarily put away our glasses until we lift the cup.

I am sure many will be wondering if this is a blog that only talks about Nigerian football, cos that's about the only thing i have been talking about - well that is so not true.

You should understand that at the moment: AFCON is it!

I assure you that when the AFCON Touney is over, you are going to have a blast with me, right here, everyday, giving you my opinion on sports issues (particularly football) from around the world.

Maybe its my passion for our team or my patriotism for my country but right about now, the only thing i see is the Super Eagles lifting the cup - i could not talk about something else even if i wanted to.

My Naija peeps, as much as it is important to celebrate our victories, we should not forget that a lot is still wrong with our football as i was trying to point out in one of my earlier post hence the onus is on us to do something to improve it; i think the starting point is to expose the problems.

This and much more will be done on this blog as time goes on....
