Nigeria! what is happening to our football? Recent events in the nigerian football circles has made it imperative to express my pent up emotions. Imagine the super eag... sorry; the green eagles fighting so hard to beat ETHIOPIA. These set of eagles players are gradually turning into murderers because they just keep giving people unnecessary tension. How can the 'almighty' nigerian team not be able to score a goal in open play against ETHIOPIA... o ma see oo. Not at anytmie during the game were they able to string 5 passes together. Our defence struggled all through to keep the ETHIOPIAN attackers at bay, our midfielders were completely clueless and the attackers... hmm, i would be unfair if i criticize them because the midfielders could not give a pass talk less of a defence splitting pass. and the COACH had absolutely no idea what to do; imagine bringing in a defender for an attacker cos we were leading against ETHIOPIA; can u imagine? and to think he had the effrontry to compare this squad with the '94 squad.
